Pasar is a hybrid marketplace where buyers and sellers will move real money through escrow, not trust alone. The full marketplace is not public yet. I owned product design for seller onboarding, escrow timing, delivery verification, dispute resolution, and the waitlist experience that had to explain all of that without a support team.

People will not send large amounts to strangers without knowing when money moves, how delivery is proved, and what happens when something goes wrong. Pasar serves both fiat and crypto users, so trust had to be legible in plain language, not blockchain jargon. The waitlist had to sell a product that did not exist yet.

  • Mapped the trust gaps buyers and sellers hit before they send money: when funds unlock, how delivery is proved, and what happens in a dispute.
  • Compared fiat and crypto onboarding paths to keep the same clarity bar for bank details and smart-wallet setup.
  • Tried waitlist copy until it converted without a live explanation. If a mechanic needed someone to explain it, the UI was not ready.
  • Mapped seller onboarding end to end: signup, fiat bank details, or crypto smart-wallet setup, with the same clarity bar for both paths.
  • Designed escrow release windows (24 hours to 4 days) tied to order value so buyers and sellers understood when funds unlock.
  • Built the delivery flow: dispatch code, rider confirmation, buyer accept or decline, and dispute path with image comparison when items arrive wrong.
  • Structured PasarCore (admin), seller dashboard, and PasarScan so Web2 receipts and on-chain IDs read clearly for non-technical users.
  • Wrote waitlist copy and UI so escrow, disputes, and seller setup are explained before launch, not after support tickets pile up.
  • Tied escrow release windows to order value instead of a single global timer, so high-value orders got more protection without slowing small ones.
  • Made delivery proof and image-based disputes first-class flows, not afterthought support scripts.
  • Kept Web2 receipts and on-chain IDs readable side by side so hybrid users never had to choose a jargon lane.
  • 94+ people joined the waitlist before the marketplace launched.
  • Waitlist converts without live support because trust mechanics are visible upfront.
  • Seller onboarding, PasarScan, wallet flows, and dispute paths designed and ready for product launch.
  • Transaction states and escalation paths mapped for engineering handoff with minimal ambiguity.
  • Hybrid Web2/Web3 trust story told in language both crypto-native and fiat-first users can follow.
